Very interesting chat with Nino at the end of that set. Nino treating it like a boxing match. With Ni La having taken too many blows to the head in the first set her corner threw in the white towell.
Heather not put on centre so gutted. Court 1 11.30 Bally third up court 2. Do the organisers not know we want to see GB players on centre court and thus TV.
Wonderful win for Heather to maintain her momentum. She told the LTA afterwards: ""I love playing in front of a crowd, its so much fun, especially at home and I just want to get through a few more rounds and the points will also be very helpful.
"I've got a big player next round. She's very experienced and I'll give it my all. I've just been playing so well and it has made me really happy, and it shows me that I can compete with these girls.
"I've had a few of the players come up to me and say well done including Marion Bartoli and also Laura (Robson) text me before I went on and after the match to congratulate me.
Makes a bit of a change for Marion to be given credit by another player
Irritatingly both Bally and Heather are scheduled on outside courts tomorrow, so there's just James on Eurosport (3rd match)
Heather is first on court 1 (v Vika Azarenka) whilst Bally is third on court 2 (a rematch with Jie Zheng, who outmanoeuvred her at Wimbledon 2 years ago by taking the ball early)
OMG the scheduling for tommorow is so disappointing, how pathetic! Especially Heathers match, after she has fought thru qualies and won a main draw match, a match against a big name should be a shoe in for centre.
Almagro v Istomin instead? Youve got to be kidding me. Im devastated.

Or indeed Hantuchova vs Stosur ( French Open finalist or not ). But yes, Almagro vs Istmomin prompts an "are you serious ?!"
Just ridiculous !
Heather says she loves playing in front of a crowd, and I'm sure more of a crowd would like to see her here as she enjoys the best week of her career
Actually, it would be my first choice for Centre, before Clijsters vs Safarova and James vs Shuettler even, but what do I know, I'm just a tennis fan

Also, unless Lisa makes it through to R2 next week, our 10 girls in the top 300 will be a short-lived statistic as Georgina Gent has 5 points for Wimbledon to come off, and 14 the week after.
Very surprised that Heather isn't on centre court tomorrow.
Had expected that Clijsters may be on as she is the big name of the tournament, but don't see how Stosur/Hantuchova is that worthy of a centre court match ahead of either Heather or Elena.
They have to split the matches for 2 mens and 2 womens matches on the centre court (would not have gone for Almagro/Istomin though... had expected either Simon/Kuznetzov or Bennetaeu/Sela to get the nod alongside Ward).
Impressed a lot more by Heather today, although Wozniak was nowhere near the form she had last year and probably would not have got five games had Heather had a bit more experience under her belt.
She played a very solid match and didn't make many errors, while was more aggressive than she was on Saturday and Sunday as well which was nice to see. The less said about her volleys though, the better (could have been a one off bad volleying day, but I can't remember her winning a single point when she went to the net)
She has a chance against Azarenka but I would be surprised if she did win. Azarenka looked pretty good today and if she plays like that again it will probably just about be enough to win the match. Will be a great test for Heather though to see what level she can compete at and how quickly we should expect her to come through the ranks.
Didn't see any of Baltacha's match so can't comment on that. Good win for her anyway and has a chance against Zheng who started very slowly today, so if she starts like that again then she could have the first set won before Zheng gets going.
South and Keothavong probably should have the doubles match as well, as a couple of the crucial points in the MTB they were ahead in the rallies and netted an easy forehand at one stage, and didn't put away volleys and ended up losing the point.
