Ward goes down 6-3 6-4. Was probably nervous as all heck. Hopefully he can use this match as a learning experience. All in all, very good week and congratulations.
But from Dolgo's perspective this has been fantastic so far, he is in the semis of a ATP 250 beating two local WC's outside the top 250 and a guy ranked outside the top 80!

Definately Ward's worst performance of the week and if he had played like he had in his other two matches he could well have won the match.
Other than his serve, Dolgopolov didn't play that well I don't think, but Ward's whole game was a level lower than it had been this week, and if he hadn't done well to save so many break points it could have been something a lot more one sided.
Great week for Dolgopolov to reach a first semi final on a surface he had never played on before, and ends the odd statistic of him being a top 50 despite having never reached an ATP QF (and only only ever won 6 ATP level matches before this week - and one of them was a retirement)
