Last year, James became the first Brit since Tim Henman in 1995 to win a Challenger title on clay. Today he's aiming to do something that hasn't been done for even longer - the last time a Brit ranked outside the top 200 won an ATP singles QF was 21 years ago this week, when Nick Brown (then ranked 467) beat Michael Stich by retirement in the Bristol ATP QFs - he went on to reach the Final and rose 200 places to 267.
(P.S. If you think I've missed a later semi-finalist ranked out the top 200, please shout!)

The bookies are giving Wardy a 37.5% (3 in 8) chance here, the shortest odds he's been to win a match this week.
The fact that Jamie B took a set off him must suggest James has a decent chance if he can maintain the same level of composure he's shown so far, but Dolgo's still the clear favourite, I'd say, and I'd expect it to be close whichever way it goes.

They're showing 2 of the women's quarters over here on the Tennis Channel but it doesn't look like they're broadcasting any of the men's matches, so won't be able to see the Wardy match. Grrr!
