Just read on the Wimbledon site that these matches were all played indoors at the NTC due to rain, so no clues about grass court form unfortunately.

The way I read the report Thursday's (and Tuesday's) matches were indoors, but Wednesday's (last 16 for women) were on grass. Some of the men's matches on Wednesday were unfinished - so must have been outside.
