RE: Week 23 - Wimbledon Qualifying WC Play-Offs

Had to smile this morning when I spotted who gbtennis's latest follower on twitter was. smile.gif The official Wimbledon twitter has 35770 followers but follows just 160 people itself (mainly players) and their latest addition is @gbtennis. LOL

I wonder if they've got it mixed up with the LTA account (@britishtennis) in which it won't be long before they notice, or if they just want to be among the first to find out about the results at their own pre-qualifying event. wink

[note to self: must stop being silly ashamed]

The knock Evo down thing seems to have enough momentum from the LTA without needing exaggerated help   no.gif

Couldn't agree more. If Boggo was refused a Wimby WC for refusing to play Davis Cup, surely Evo should've got a QWC as reward for playing the last DC tie.

Perhaps not surprising that Evans and Cox came through pre-qualifying given the good performances that they showed at Queens over the weekend.

A disgrace. Rankings going in reverse, injuries, switching to doubles, late night drinking, too much bonking etc etc. Don't worry Mummy and Daddy will help if it all goes tits up!!! Get real GB men. Where is your fire. Too comfortable? Time for some red hot pokers and cut backs! Start importing LTA. Once we hit DC tier III and no wimb qualies, there be changes...

Fart

ps Boggo should retire. Will it be 10 years in row, failing at Wimb?

sorry totally diagree about Alex he still has potential to reach top 100 most of his draws at Wimbledon have been horrific against higher ranked players. How many other British players apart from Murray/Tim/Greg have won rounds? Last one I can remember was David Sherwood and poss Bloomfield/ But do agree standard is crap at moment with no one coming through
