I watched the interview and the studio discussion either side of it, and much though it pains me to say it, for once Andrew Castle won my approval by strongly supporting Boggo! Lloyd was waffling, praising him on the one hand and attacking him on the other.
For the match itself - well, double-faulting TWICE at deuce in the final set is pretty dire. For heavens sake make sure you don't do it the second time, the opponent just might make a mess of even a weak serve!

i only saw Lloyd before the match, seeming to praise Alex, matching Andy in training etc, then saying he called him and alex said 'No' to further ties but didn't really elaborate. Well thing is he didn't really seem to try hard to persuade Alex to play did he.

the AEGON Webiste is absolutely dire, they have a video and audio section, yet it only gives you access to the latest video, no archive, no audio. on Sunday there was an audio interview with Boggo, Coxy and Evo, prob up for a few hours then gone for all time.
i think i might email Thomson Reuters and ask them where all the info is.

oh and a little stat i saw on 606: Dimitrov has now received 23 wild cards in his short career, impressive, still somewhat short of Donald '55 WC' Young though.

"I'm into qualifiers for Wimbledon. If I play well I could qualify. I could be back for Davis Cup in September."
Oops! He does realise there can't possibly be a DC tie this September?
Re. Draper's:
"The committees probably looked at the fact that he has had eight wildcards previously and he went out in the first round every time, although he had very tough draws in all of those matches."
Roughly translates as "he had very tough draws in all those matches but we're going to conveniently ignore that fact because we're scared of getting our asses whupped by the media, who'll ignore it too if it gives them an excuse to give us a good kicking"

Just finished watching the interview - when he talks about how he keeps plugging away it's as if he's speaking for all Challenger level players, isn't it. Good stuff.
My gf tells me it's just been reported on R2 followed by "stop whingeing" - clearly they watched the full interview too ... not!
