Count were you the one Boggo was signalling to when waiting for the courts to dry up?

erm maybe, just before they called it off, i was trying to get alex's attetion to cover up and keep warm, he was just sitting there in his shirt and shorts again. but seemed like he either wasnt bothered by it or already knew play was off as he was just kinda smiling back.

Count, I was watching the match with He Who (despite not following tennis at all) Knows Everything, and he said, "Isn't that the one who gets all the wild cards and never wins?"

Can you post again the list you posted once before of the comparative rankings of all the players Alex has lost to at Queens and Wimby so that I can flourish it in his face?

The forecast for tomorrow isn't particularly with rain until about 4ish, so a bit of a shame that Boggo couldn't have finished Dimitrov off today. (which could be why there are only 4 singles matches on centre court including Boggo/Dimitrov which won't take more than 30 minutes whatever the outcome)

If he can get off to a good start then he should be able come through as today he started better than Dimitrov before the Bulgarian started to come back into match.

Dimitrov clearly does have the talent to ranked a lot higher than he is and did not look like someone ranked outside the top 300, so not quite sure why he is still so low.

Heres Queens, Alex entered qualies in 04 and 05, but the atp didnt list the results, i'd have to go to ITF. i'm pretty sure one of the loses was vs Muller in 05, not sure on the other, edit the other was Moodie in 2nd rd after he beat Pequery in 1st rd.

For what it's worth, the match will resume at 12.30 on the centre court tomorrow.

Twitter borders on the lunatic at times. This exchange:

@newballsplease: "Can I just say that if Alex Bogdanovic is still in the tournament on Wednesday and Grigor is gone, I am going to ... not be pleased."

ACE blog: "Bit of a shame this, as it will no doubt stem Boggo's flow. Although that seems to please some people.. @newballsplease on Twitter: Can I just say that if Alex Bogdanovic is still in the tournament on Wednesday and Grigor is gone, I am going to ... not be pleased. Honestly. Where's your patriotism?"

Me, noticing the above, to ACE: "Maybe @newballsplease swims in the shallow end? wink.gif"

@newballsplease: "I swore a solemn oath that if Boggo ever won a match in SW19, I'd quit smoking. Any grass court success increases the danger. (And yes, as it happens, I do splash around happily in the shallow end.)"

Me, unable to resist: ""When Boggo wins, people live longer" LOL RT @newballsplease: I swore a solemn oath that if Boggo ever won a match in SW19, I'd quit smoking"

And the punchline? ...

@QuitSmoking123 has just (auto-)retweeted that last one to its 5902 followers among it's "Quitting Smoking Before Pregnancy Could Save Babies' Lives" and other tips. biggrin
