If the weather is the same in Birmingham as it is in Coventry then you can safely right off any more play today.

No. Qualifiers aren't drawn until all matches finish.

From Cav's coach "Going back on, strap yourselves in!!"

Good to see he has a sense of humour! smile.gif

Pity  cry

Seems a real fighting effort by Cav and saved 9 out of 11 break points against her.  Total points were 121 all, although Cav definitely had the longer service games ( 133 service points against 109 ).

I presume it must have been a fair deluge to have forced them off at that point in the middle of a final set tiebreak.

Decent qualifying matches by Anna too, although seems to have fallen away a bit in second set today, and of course good win by Laura to give us one qualifier, just would have been even better to have got two.

Seems to have been rather too much in Q1 for Lisa and Joss.  There are at the moment a very clear top 10 among GB women with a bit to do for anyone outside these top 10 to reach a higher level.

ill say it now, if laura avoids the top 8 in the first two rounds, i have a feeling she will win a couple of matches

id love it if laura draws bally or katie.
guaranteed british winner.

also, if its bally, it will be a chance to see how laura stacks up against britains current best.
