Not surprised by Heathers withdrawal, I assumed she would head to the states for the HC events where a WC or 2 shouldnt be out of the realms of possibility.

I'm actually assuming it's a slower than expected recovery from her abdominal strain as she is still entered for Wrexham the following week.

Ahh I forgot she was injured, you're obviously right if she still plans on playing in the UK. At least she can still play the weaker of the two events, should be a good test.

Any news on why Konta is out? I was hoping to go to this for a few days and along with Laura were the players I was most looking forward to seeing.

She pulled out of the Spanish tournament this week so must be carrying a minor niggle as well.
