Oh, I guess my directions on the main Nottingham thread weren't very helpful either then! The club is not as big as it looks from the outside, and there aren't that many facilities available which have public access. There is an ice cream van and a burger van outside and an indoor seating area where you can look at the ball kids run around. If you can get up the stairs by the reception then it gets a bit more interesting as there are a few viewing galleries for the practice courts and you can see into the players area.

Inglot fit enough for doubles, eh?
I spoke to him a little bit watching Eaton v Willis. He said it's his first week back from an injury and he felt he hadn't done enough training to be ready for singles, but he said he should be back for Queens qualies (although given previous years cuts I don't think he'll get in?) He also seemed quite confident of a Wimbledon doubles WC, although I guess he's just speculating as much as we are.

Is it busy then? Where do I go to watch actual matches? Thanks for the info.

Its pretty obvious when you're there. The outdoor courts are around the back of the centre. Centre court has quite a large stand and then the other 4 courts are behind it although I never quite worked out how they're numbered. I think 1 and 4 are next to each other then 2 and 3 are just behind them.
Unbelievable that it's taken the national association of the country that hosts - arguably the best - grand slam tournament until about 10.30 pm on the day of a local Challenger tournament to update the relevant draw sheets!
Apologies for the wrong info about Eaton/Inglot. I saw them lose the 1st set and they were walking off court while the Wardinator was still in the same set so assumed they had lost as I didn't think there would be enough time for a 2nd set and a MTB. Clearly there was.
The Flemski semi was very strange, with neither pair appearing to try too hard despite both coming through tough QF matches. I'm not sure how long there was between Flemski's matches but I was surprised to see them on court so soon, let alone be *3-0 up. Both teams missed a lot of easy volleys, which could just be through tiredness after a long day but they seemed to speed through the match, it only lasted around 50 mins I think. One amusing part was were Fleming got lobbed and ran back to try and hit the ball between his legs, however he forgot to open his legs and smashed the ball right into his shins! All 3 other players on the court burst out laughing at him, along with Eaton/BBD who were watching.
Eaton/BBD were walking around in match kit watching the other QF so I assumed they were getting ready to play later on but I guess the organisers decided it was too late.
Queens could take a few lessons from Nottingham on how to treat the Brits. When it was clear the bottom half semi of the Women's draw wouldn't have a Brit in it they shamelessly shunted it on to an outside court and put Flemski's QF on instead, despite being advertised as being on court 1 or 2. At least they know who the home crowd want to see.
