Ah. Somebody else wondering the same thing as I! His web site gives no clue: it say simply that he's back in the UK & that he & Jonny were heading back from Paris for the start of the grass-court season after going out in the first round there!
You know, I am sorely tempted to start my grass court season early and go up to this. Can anyone give me any info about 1) venue, 2) how to get up there, 3) tickets?

I assume entry is free. For non-car directions from Nottingham station, just go to http://maps.google.co.uk/, click on Get Directions, start Nottingham Railway Station end NG7 2QH, and click the public transport or walking icons just above the from/to boxes to get the relevant directions.
EDIT: Yeah, LTA site confirms it is free. I checked the rail times and fairs - it's about a two hour journey with at least one change involved, the rail fair is a bit steep but seeing as the tourney is free that makes up for it. The rail station is literally a six minutes walk to the Nottingham Tennis Centre.
Checking the forecast however, it is supposed to rain literally all day tomorrow in Nottingham. The rest of the week is going to be sunny though... so I'm now dithering between should I go tomorrow or should I wait till Wednesday? If it rains I'll have wasted a lot of time and money if I go... but if I don't go and it doesn't rain I'll miss all the action!

Why didnt u say u couldnt drive, before i put directions on. Anyway the train staton six minutes away is Beeston,The main station would be a ten minute taxi ride.

Not an uncommon misunderstanding - people who drive everywhere tend to assume everyone else drives everywhere and people who avoid cars like the plague (like me) or simply don't have one (LT?) assume asking for directions means 'proper' directions.

Well, to answer your wondering, steven, it's several things. Firstly, I can't drive at all. I haven't learnt yet. I have my birthday pretty late in the academic year and during my final year at school I was so busy with A Levels and applying to uni, then since then I've been at uni in the heart of London, where I might as well forget taking a car. Secondly, I can't afford lessons, let alone a car and the insurance for the car and the petrol and everything else... I'm a student, I'm not made of money!
