Gee, I'll ask Josh, shall I? wink.gif

I didn't read anywhere he cares about whatever this "Van" character thinks of him, merely wondering out loud for a joke (made evident by the "haha PRAT" comment at the end) if "Van" is available to give some lessons. You do realise he's not actually referring to our Vandenburg, right? Merely someone who by coincidence has a name that shortens to "Van". Of course to us on this board if were to refer to a "Van", well the only "Van" we know is Vandenburg. Hence the mild amusement elicited, since Josh's "Van" is obviously not our "Van". bucktooth.gif

Since he has previously bad-mouthed Vandenburg on his twitter I would say that it's more than likely that it is in fact 'our' Vandenburg he is talking about.

he must be tweeting about Vandenburg, he already tweeted about him before, this is just too much of a coincidence otherwise...

and if he's putting it in a tweet for the world to see, surely that does mean he's taking notice of what Vandenburg was saying about him

I thought Marcus could pull that win off...i reckon he can do for Dan and Chris both but it will be tough

See point above. Why would Josh tweet about someone on a tennis forum somewhere, whom it's highly unlikely he's ever met or heard of?

becos Vandenburg cracked a joke about Goodall's abilities a few weeks ago, to which Goodall obviously saw becos he replied on twitter about it

Technically I could ask Josh right now. But I'm not going to if there's some kind hostilities going on here, I don't want to facilitate that. shrug.gif

actually Vandenburg probably could give him a lesson in groundstrokes...140mph first serve or not, my 2 year old niece already hits a better backhand than him

I think thats a bit unfair on Josh's backhand, he has good slice (effective on grass) and can come over it when he needs to.

Good luck biggrin. I know Josh and I'm not going to get involved in this one!

Getting back to the topic, hopefully the Brits will have a good run here, and it's great to see the grass court season getting underway again for another year. smile
