Never been (it's outside the M25 so never gonna happen for me!) and can't go this year with uni exams

the famous 'Tsonga Dash' - epic stuff

yeh great wins from Willis, picked it perfectly. i feel of the young guys he's got a the best grasscourt game with the serve and volleying, but i also feel he has more ability from the back of the court than most of our other big servers - he showed against Delic last year (where he was really impressive) he has a good feel for this surface

It's gonna be quite a journey for me too, as I live in and around London. Shame, Knight! I wanted to go to MC this year since it was so good the year before, but I simply couldn't because of my dissertation. Fortunately all my uni exams finished about two weeks ago for me, so I've been able to entertain the idea of just up and going to Nottingham on a whim.

I guess my only option is to wake up tomorrow morning and check the met office forecast again - it might be more accurate closer to the actual time.

Well, it's Tuesday morning. I'm up early to check the weather report, and yesterday where the Met Office were saying it would be light rain all day over Nottingham, they have now updated to say it will be HEAVY rain all day. The only break in the rain will be from 4pm to 7pm and then at 7pm there will be light rain showers to round off the day.

Methinks Tuesday will not get much play done, and that the majority of matches will be postponed till tomorrow. As a result, I've decided to go on Wednesday instead of today.

*roll eyes* At least I know one person will be enjoying the weather today. Grisha loves a good downpour. He says it gives him a positive feeling about his game.

they had 20 matches down on todays OOP, may really try and pack them in tomorrow if today is a total wash out as it seemed.

My thinking exactly. Although they may have to pack some of the planned Wednesday matches into Thursday as well if today is a total wash out. I checked the weather forecast again and now it looks like there won't even be a break in the rain between 4pm and 7pm. However it does appear to be dry for the rest of the week, so they shouldn't fall behind too much. I rather hope today is entirely rained off! There's some good action on today that I don't want to miss! I want to catch Katie O'Brien and Anne Keothavong's matches in the morning, then in the afternoon Boggo's match, then either Delgado/Goodall or Marray/Dimitrov in the doubles, then either Boggo/Slabba or Inglot/Eaton to round off the day. smileaww

Can anyone give me an estimate on when the day's play should end? I can't miss the last train, you see. I might have to leave early or get a room in the nearby hotels otherwise.

Well, sunset is round about 9:30pm and it's a 3 hour train journey back down to my home.
