It's good to know that the ticket office knows exactly what they are doing...
Despite having ordered the tickets a long time ago, the tickets will be with me by Saturday at the very latest... considering that the tie begins on Friday, that isn't exactly helpful. They may arrive tomorrow, but that depends on what time the post arrives at my house as to whether I'd have them before the matches begin.
(It's lucky I suppose that I'm a 5 minute walk away so can afford to wait until almost the last minute before leaving and not having to travel to Eastbourne to watch the tie)
Given that I can prove the money has been taken out of my account and that I have a reference number that proves I have bought tickets, the man on the phone said that if they don't arrive, I will still be able to get in, but considering they are planning on making sure the tickets arrive after the first day's play, whether or not that will work I don't know.
That's shocking, I hope it's just an unfortunate glitch and they aren't late getting the tickets out to lots of people.
From the Daily Mail re the board they put the draw up on: "@flemskitennis probably not delighted to see Ken's name spelt Scupski. Assured him that we know how to spell it, even if LTA don't"

It's not like they've only had a couple of days to send out the tickets - they've had at least 2 weeks to do so - and I've recieved some other post in the last couple of days that arrived on time, so it's nothing to do with the post being delayed.
I'm just looking forward to trying to explain to the people on the ticket desk why I'm trying to get in without a ticket tomorrow...
Sadly, no, Count. I have Eurosport on my tv so I'll be watching it on that... today and Sunday anyways.
For anyone who wants to know what channel it's on, it's British Eurosport 2. I only found out yesterday because I spotted that there was an exo match between Ivanisevic and McEnroe and was watching that, and they ran an advertisement to say they'd be covering the British vs Turkey tie.
I'm really not sure if anywhere else would be covering it, since it's such a low-division tie. Most other media outlets are focusing on the big World Group ties, Serbia vs Croatia, and Sky Sports 4 are covering France vs Spain.

I can't find the match to click on! Oh well, the half-alive LTA it will have to be. I would have paid the £4 for Eurosport but I don't have time to watch all the tie, so I'm too mean
