We have three boys trying to negotiate 2 rounds of qualifying to join Oliver Golding in the main draw. Jack's opponent has been in good form lately, and beat George Morgan in France. Tom should be favourite against a hard court specialist whilst Ashley beat his opponent on clay last year.

Some good news from Paris, as both qualifying rounds were completed today after yesterday's near washout. Ashley Hewitt looked to have the best chance of qualifying given his ability on clay and the draw (the other seed was an American who lost to a French wildcard), and took full advantage to join Ollie in the main draw

The main draw is out, and Ashley has a poor reward for his efforts, having been drawn against one of the best performers in the clay season (including winning an Italian Grade 1 followed by a semi in the Trofeo Bonfiglio). Ollie has a decent first round draw against a slightly lower ranked French player, who has not shown much form this year. However Australian Open champion and ATP 800 Tiago Fernandes is his likely second round opponent.
