Third match on Court 1 ( ) tomorrow. Head-to-head is 5-1 in Andy's favour, the last two being a straight-sets win (3 & 3) in Monte-Carlo a week or so ago & last year in the first round (2, 2 & 1) at Roland-Garros itself, so I'm cautiously optimistic, bipartite patella in the right knee permitting (cf. Chris Jones' article in today's London Evening Standard) ...
Cautiously optimistic about this one (I've been cautious since the Spring slump!). There should be no surprises from this guy about his style of play, and while consistent, Andy is more consistent (usually) and has more weapons. I hope he has remembered where he left his serve.
I should be able to tune in for this one later today. Surely the BBC interactive stream will be showing it (currently they are showing Federer vs Falla which is 2nd on Philippe Chartrier, Andy's match of course 3rd on Court 1).

im sorry but if i cant recover from a 4 hour match ( first match of tourny) and hasnt played in two weeks prior, he has no chance in a slam!! he's one of the fittest on tour, it wont be a problem
Right, I'm here! I was just doing the vacuuming, then I had to riffle through the bin because SOMEONE threw away a crucial receipt... gah, I could hear Andy's match starting in the other room! But I'm here now and haven't missed too much. Hurrah.
Andy's already broken Chela's serve and about to serve himself to take it to 3-1, I see. Awesome.

Whao... 5-1 already! This could be over quickly! I did predict that round 2 would be harder for Andy than round 1 (my thought was always that Chela would be his opponent at this stage), but I wasn't anticipating having bakery products for dinner! GO ANDY!
