L16: (WC) Jamie Baker WR 257 v (8) Peter Polansky (CAN) WR 191
4th on Centre, so should be streamed again, probably not before about 22.30 BST.
Polansky has not won back to back matches in over a dozen tournaments in 7 months since reaching the QFs of the Santiago Challenger last October and around half of his ranking points come from qualifying for RG and the USO last year and winning a round as a WC at the Canada Masters, when he was lucky enough to draw an even lower ranked Canadian WC in R1 before going out to Nole in R2 in two tight sets.
He last played a Brit in 2008 when he lost to Edward Seator in the QFs in El Salvador, lost 3 & 4 to Boggo in Granby and beat Wardy 5 & 6 in Rimouski.
So, if Jamie manages to recover from his R1 match ok, he has a very winnable match to clinch that top 250 spot.

That means it's a cast-iron certainty he'll do it this time, since he's up agin a Brit...
Would you rather he was playing a no. 1 seed who had reached 10 Finals in a row and was on a massive Brit-bashing streak? LOL
Yes cause he would surely be knackered, and not bothered with a challnger as he waits for his sudden ranking rise on the back of 10 finals (assuming he's not the runner up in 10 10k's of course) to allow him ATP entries :)
Peter Paker here is probably fresh as a daisy at the moment, raing to go.
and its all your fault
