Kyle Edmund plays his first junior tournament since his success in Nottingham, but has a tricky draw against another talented 1995 boy, who lost narrowly to Luke Bambridge in Nottingham.

(Q) Christopher Heyman (BEL) v (6) Sam Hutt (GBR)
(5) Joe Mills (GBR) v (LL) Can Kural (TUR)

No, it's outdoor hard, which is a more favourable surface for most of our contingent I think - though Kyle did well on red clay last year.

So it is possible to avoid clay in Europe during the month of May.

The drawsheets for most European junior ITF events appear either on the national, club or tournament website. In this case it is the club: http://www.tedclub.org.tr/

Unfortunately Kyle couldn't overcome the second seed, so British interest rests with Sam in singles, though the pair have teamed up to reach the doubles quarters

R3

 (6) Sam Hutt (GBR) d. (9) Ivan Vershchaga (RUS) 6-3 7-5
(2) Alp Golcuklu (TUR) d. (15) Kyle Edmund (GBR) 6-4 7-5

QF

(Q/3) Samir Iftikhar (PAK) v (6) Sam Hutt (GBR)

ok cheers david, oh well kyle wasnt expected to win that one, altough a good run in dubs could help avoid this kind of players this early
