Dan Smethurst (GBR) (2) vs. Jaan-Frederik Brunken (GER) WR 551
Alex Ward (GBR) vs. Blazej Koniusz (POL) (WC) WR 883

Decent draws for both, they will meet each other potentially in the QF's

A Polish translation kind of Report on Dan

Was promoted to the second round and seeded no. 2 Briton Daniel Smethurst, considered one of tennis nadzei English. And it should be noted that that the first match of the German Jaan-Frederikiem Brunkenem in Katowice showed the good side. He has a long, hard, but technically diversified ball, showing off since the shortcuts, stop-wolejami, effective lobami. So relatively quickly won in straight sets.

Nadzieja (hence nadzei), in case anyone is wondering, is hope/prospect. The rest is pretty obvious from the dodgy translation you've posted, especially once you take off the case endings, e.g. stop-wolej and lob.

If you have any problems with translations let me know. I won't be in that tournament cos it's **** raining and it was moved indoors.

QF:  (2) Dan Smethurst WR 337 vs (5) Marek Semjan (SVK) WR 383

Don't want to jinx his chances, but surely a chance of a semi-final place? pray.gif
