Good fight from Josh against the Number 3 seed, but not quite enough.

Thanks for the good luck messages guys, the exam went quite well!

Good win for Baker with a decent chance of winning his next match too, gutted for Josh although it seems like some 1st set!

Jamie was playing a lucky loser then, I didn't realise that...

R32: Jamie Baker (GBR) WR 268 beat (LL) Juan-Sebastian Cabal (COL) WR 342 6-3 6-4 smile
R32: Josh Goodall (GBR) WR 297 lost to Go Soeda (JAP) (3) WR 152 7-6(17) 7-6(4) cry

R16: Jamie Baker (GBR) WR 268 vs Marco Crugnola (ITA) WR 262

Juan-Sebastian Cabal was the guy who beat Bloomers in the qualies.

Josh sounds relatively upbeat about the match, which is good:

"Lost an unbelievably tight match today! Played very well, just didn't convert my chances! If I play like that Il do sum damage on my grass!"

Jamie B 2nd up around lunchtime tomorrow against Marco Crugnola - career high of 165 (in past year) who beat top seed Rajeev Ram in the previous round.

Would be great to see Jamie B win this one (esp. since next round looks winnable too) but not particularly hopeful.

JM&JM on later mid/late afternoon

I think Jamie should win that, Crugnola is nothing special, he beat Ram but no offernce to Ram, he could be beat by many brits and has been.

Chris Eaton also plays his dubs tomo.
