Anna broken first game of the second set, including two DFs. Seems that she may be a bit nervous, but who can blame her.

Anna loses 6-3 6-3 but should take heart from a competitive match against someone as good as Cirstea (a quarter-finalist in last year's French Open, beating Wozniacki and Jankovic)

Naomi is third on court following Bergot (set down to Duque Marino) and Daniilidou. If she qualifies she could end up playing Bally
