Joc must be struggling with an injury not playing singles.
Miriam Watson unfortunately has nasty Rodionova in her section of the draw.

In case people are wondering:

LCA = St Lucia
KIR = Kiribati

I think the rest are fairly obvious.

Are we going to have a sweepstake on how many double bagels there are going to be across these five events? wink

Even if there are, I can imagine it's going to be a lot of fun for everyone taking part.

I'm so excited to see Amanda Carreras representing Gibraltar.

I like the filenames on the LTA site for the draw sheets: Draw-Olympics-XX.pdf

Jos Rae is down for both doubles. Is her absence from the singles another c*** up?

Just looked up Team Scotland's website. It confirms Mhairi Brown as the only womens singles player for Scotland. No explanation of why Jos is not playing singles. Seems strange to go all that way and not take up your singles entiltlement. At a push she may not have wanted to let her doubles partners down if she is carrying an injury. But still rather strange.

From Sarah Borwell:

"http://twitpic.com/2u9xhm - Where's this costume from?hahaha"

With red that bright, I'm pretty sure it's Gibraltar, and I think I recognise the player on the right as Amanda Carreras, though the only pic I've seen of her before was taken at least a couple of years ago.
