thats a big shame for Ward, but these type of things often happen, and we've seen both Evo and Ward fall the 1st hurdle, and the pressure really is on when you have 1 good result from a year.
and so heading towards the grass season Mens tennis is not looking so great, 1 top 100 player, 1 top 200 player and 1 top 300 at the end of this week (As josh is playing a futures his points wont count to next week will they).

This is true, but on the bright side these players will have basically nothing to defend for the rest of the year
Ward only has 59 points to defend untill January Evans has 75 points to defend untill January Baker has nothing to defend untill the end of August but then has 130 points to defend!
Where as you compare with the likes of Boggo who has got around 215 points to defend!
It may look bleak at the moment but i believe in the coming months alot of our boys will go up the rankings in the case of Evans, Ward, Baker and Smethurst and i think that they will all be in the 200-299 bracket in the next few months
I also have a feeling that one of the other men apart from Murray will win a Wimbledon 1st round match this year
