This looks an astonishing result. But had a look at Metenier closer, and found out this is Metenier's first match since October 2009, so he must be back from a fairly major injury.
Josh was very impressive today after a slow start. Ollie called for an injury timeout at the beginning of the second set for a wrist injury but that had little impact on the result.
George was workmanlike in his victory. James was often the aggressor in this match with George often content to retrieve the ball to make James play one more shot. George played one huge forehand to show what he is capable of and will have to do more to progress further. Without doubt his biggest weapon was his serve which won him many a cheap point. Ollie probably played better in defeat than George did in victory today.

I dont buy this. so he should look impressive at this level!
looking impressive at futures level is like a labour candidate looking impressive in barnsley west constituency seat that needed at 98% swing to become conservative.

Yes he is number one seed but he has had a very poor season so given that he looked good to me today.
Greg Rusedski, Jeremy Bates, Paul Hutchins and Leon Smith were all watching today in temperatures that never rose above 8 C.
Spoke to Paul Hutchins and he made it pretty clear that they want Boggo for the next Davis Cup tie. Spoke to Leon Smith and he said it was important that Jamie, Josh and Alex kept playing until their late twenties.
