Here is some probably useless information for you. Nicholas Rosenzweig actually lives in Dundee (trains at David Lloyd in Monifieth). His father teaches with my wife at a school in the city and he is best mates with one of my best mates' colleagues (also a teacher). How do I know this? Well I ended up in the same team as him at a pub quiz a few weeks ago! He was pretty surprised by my knowledge of the futures scene and I was fairly surprised to hear who he was. Needless to say I am hopeful that he can bag another point or more this week and hopefully the rest of you can follow him as one of our own.
Well, I won't be absolutely stunned if he does, I must admit. I still wouldn't put money on it, whereas I'd have been very tempted to put money on the Wardinator to beat Josh last week had anywhere been offering odds.

I reckon Short will get his point but Burton will have to wait another day. Don't know much about El Menshawy's opponent but it would be nice to get a few new Brits on the ranking lists. Only Priddle and Morgan so far this year I think.

Marsalek too, though he'd been ranked before in 2008/9 if I remember right. We've lost two - Skupski and Hutch.
Conversely, we have no newly ranked women this year but none of them have dropped out of the rankings either, though some with onely one or two ranked events have now got none and others with none have got one or two.

Interesting - what surprised me most was that you were getting pub quiz questions on the Futures scene - sounds like my kind of pub quiz! LOL
Then I read it again and realised that probably wasn't what you meant ...
Ha ha. I actually went through the exact same thought process

i could just imgaine Steven in that kind of puib quiz! he'd be in his element and loving it. i'd have to be there to keep an eye just incase he got a question wrong tho .
