RE: Week 18 - ITF ($10K) - Edinburgh, GBR Clay

I can remember a thread where someone said you played in Glasgow against Heather so I recognised the name happy.gif Keep at it though happy.gif I always say, if you can win points, you can win games. If you can win games, you can win sets and if you can win sets... well... you know the rest happy.gif Sure you'll do it next time! biggrin.gif As least you're giving it a go!

(More than I ever did...)

Indy, you might have to use Quick Reply for now. There seems to be a problem with the forum.

Hurrah !

Anyway, what I was trying to say was....How could we not know who Alicia was after she previously sent us off to watch her Florida ( was it ? ) videos.

Hard luck on today.

Don't know if you're still there Lurk, but if you're having trouble posting, for now you might have to use the Quick Reply at the bottom of the page.

If you are there, and you can reply, are you planning to watch any of the tennis tomorrow, or the rest of the week, or is it back home and prepare for the next tourney?

Are you planning to play a few more tournaments now? If so, when might you be playing next?

Hoping to maybe get along before the end of the week, probably Friday earliest so better still be home interest then !

Anyway, it is one way of finding out results before halfway through the evening !

Alicia, if you watch tomorrow, do you think you could tweet a few results. Saves our waiting until 10.00pm for news of the results.

http://twitter.com/Aliciasace - sure, thats my twitter.

Im going to Sanchez beginning of June for a few weeks and playing a domestic tournament there just for some clay practice really and to see if I'd like to go full time.

I am playing quite a few itfs over summer - one in Scotland,Newcastle and Ireland.
Also going away to play two itf's in Africa which would be my first overseas itf's so should be fun.

Apart from that I plan to do a lot of British tours and a few grade 2 tournaments like the Scottish open.

Good luck with the tournaments. One sure way to gain a few fans and that's to keep us posted on your progress if that's possible.

Also, is clay really your favourite surface (ITF profile page). And is it difficult getting into draws without a National ranking? Is it a case of 'spending' your wildcards carefully?
