That's Goodall's first win on clay since October 2003!

Excellent win by Slabba, taking the 3rd Seed out. biggrin

Think there's only 1 guaranteed in QF so far - Goodall/Ward.

Good chance for Slabba to reach the semis (or beyond), only the 2 Irish (King & O'Brien) & Illy in his quarter now.

Should be a very close match against O'Brien but the winner of that match would definitely be looking at the semis.

A few more results from Edinburgh. Liam Broady has beaten 5th seed Nacho Coll 6-4 7-5. Willis lost a "keenly contested" match. Carpenter winning 6-1 2-6 7-6.

An eventful day at Edinburgh. Great wins for Broady, Carpenter, Slaba, Ward and Cox.

Josh did enough to see off the unranked Escoffier. He won the first game to love but then dropped his serve to love. Good result but he does not look 100%. After one point he shouted he would have made the shot "on any other surface". Obviously still not that comfortable on clay. Alex Ward has a good chance of beating him tomorrow,

Liam did well on Centre Court against Coll. Slight question marks over Coll's injury status but he did not look impeded during a match in which Broady was the steadier. Interesting match up with Cox tomorrow.

Very close match between Willis and Carpenter. Lots of questioning over decisions. By the end of the 3rd set they were playing great tennis but Will Bomb did the damage in a lacklustre first set which he lost 6-1. He reached the quarters here last year so disappointing for him.

Just before I left, George Morgan had lost the first set against Eysseric. Rice was waiting to beginn his match against Ashley Hewitt.

Broady WTH?!?!? what a result against Nadal's buddy, especially after the tonking the other day

poor from Willbomb though, he was a better prospect than Jack is at the same age, shouldn't be losing this sort of match
