Assume that if Anne and KOB don't make main draw at Brum they will get Wild Cards

So who will get Queens wild-cards?

Lat year they gave them to Goodall, Ward, Baggy (who has defected to Halle), Grosjean (waste) and Dimitrov (joke)

Boggo?

i know he's not in favour but if the LTA are trying to sweeten him up for DC this could be a start. they can't guarantee him a wimby one as AETLC have final say. and obviously a Eastbourne WC is a poor trade off as you miss wimby Q.

i think Baker maybe as well.

Got to be Ward again. He has never disgraced himself at Queens and performed well the year he qualified as well. He has game on grass because of his serve and movement

I hardly think losing to Baghdatis qualifies him for having failed and he did win in Eastbourne

The 3 best british performances at Nottingham should get them.

Yeh I agree with this. If the LTA have supported the decision to have play-offs for DC to establish the best form, allowing those who do best the WCs should be a good motivation. I suppose the problem is remaining totally neutral, and fairly determining whether a tight 3 set loss to a player ranked 150 is better than a tight 3 set win against a player ranked 200 etc.

it wasn't the fact he lost it (ive always thought very highly of Baggy's talents) was the manner of defeat, very tame indeed

There's no getting away from the fact that Ward was diabolical during the whole of the grass season last year.
