I see a win by retirement here.

CSN goes over on her ankle as Anne wins a point to go 40-30 up serving at 5-6.

Must bring back memories for Anne of her own injury last year, though an ankle injury is not as serious as a knee injury.

Doesn't look as if she will be able to go on. Real shame as it was shaping up to be a good match.

Slow motion replays were not pleasant viewing.

Yeah, ceratinly must be mixed emotions for Anne - seeing someone in that much pain must obliterate the joy of progressing to the next round.

Really horrid in slow motion. I'm not a massive fan of CSN in generally, but that looked horrific, and I feel so sorry for her. Anne probably can relate after what happened to her in Stanford, and it was good to see her come over to Carla when it happened. Hopefully Carla will be on the mend asap.

I can still get 8/11 for Anne to win. Do you think I should take it?

Yep they are shaking hands, so Anne wins 5-6 retired.

Horrible for CSN, must be a real doubt for the French Open.

Not only should this give Anne a DA to Wimbledon, if CSN does withdraw from Roland Garros that would ensure Anne has a DA there to. Hardly the ideal way to do that though!

Ouch - looking at that again that should see her out for a good few months at least.

Yeah I'd definitely take it. You could  be a rich man in the space of a couple of seconds.

Witnessing something like this can have quite a bad effect psychologically, reminding you of your own fragility.

I hope Anne can shake the image (and not look at the reply) before her next game.

Sad for Carla, she seems like a nice lady. How many points has Anne 'bagged' now then? Is she closer to the top 100 now?

QF: KEOTHAVONG, Anne (GBR) 111 v CORNET, Alize (FRA) 84

I hope Alize gives Anne a chance to blow her own trumpet.

Anne has 70 points for reaching the QFs and she is defending 30 from the same week last year, so she is currently a net 40 points up. That may move her to 2 or 3 places outside the top 100 depending on other results.  A QF final win should certainly take her back into the top 100.

Katie going to drop a bit though, replacing 80 points with 30 here.
