There is a report (with pic) on Wardy's match at http://www.mantaopen.com/noticias-leer.php?id=78 - I think it should be fairly easy to understand even though it is in Spanish, but here's a translation:
JAMES WARD IN THE QUARTER-FINALS OF THE 7TH MANTA OPEN
The British player James Ward was the first player to reach the quarter-finals of the 7th Manta Open for the Ricardo Delgado Aray Trophy, which is taking place at the premises of the Umiña Tennis Club, by overcoming the Ecuadorian Iván Endara 6-0 6-3 in 59 minutes of play.
Ward, who produced the surprise of the tournament by knocking out the no. 1 seeded American Rajeev Ram, is continuing to win and is emerging as one of the players with a chance of winning the title at this edition of the Manta Open. He bases his game on an effectice first serve, trying to take advantage of his 1.9 m height.
The Briton served 10 aces, commited one double fault and converted 6 of his 14 break points, with firmness and strength in all of his shots, showing his superiority over the Ecuadorian who was unable to find a strategy to counter his rival's game.
In the quarter-finals of the 7th Manta Open, Ward will play the winner of the match between the sixth seed, the Brazilian Ricardo Hocevar, and the German Sebastian Rieschick.

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
And, if he pulls it off, he'll have to go back out on the same court "after suitable rest" to face Riccardo Ghedin (WR 251) in the QF. Shouldn't be too tired, though, given that the bulk of his R2 match is already history!
James' QF against Hocevar is scheduled to get under way on Court 6 at the same time as Jamie's resumes on Court 3. Good luck to both lads.
Almost forgot! Yesterday's rain created a minor backlog of matches: the R1 doubles match 'twixt the local pair, Julio César Campozano & Emilio Gómez, & the top seeds, Martin Emmrich & Andreas Siljeström (GER/SWE), couldn't be played as a result, so will be the first match on Court 4 at the same time as Jamie's & James' matches elsewhere. Win or lose in his singles match, James, too, will have to go back out on court along with Greg Jones, again "after suitable rest", to face the winners in the QF!
