Good grafting from Jamie, broke his opponent when he was serving for the match and played well in the tie break.
Think my prediction of whoever was the fittest was going to win the 3rd set and im glad it was Jamie!
This match seemed reminiscent of the Murray v Del Potro canada final where Murray and DelPo shared two tight sets then a fitter Murray romped to victory in the 3rd against a fatigued Del Potro which i think is the same for Jamie's game

Brilliant fight from Baker there - I can hardly believe my eyes when I look at the calcs, but I'm pretty sure he'll be back to GB no. 3 on Monday if Wardy fails to beat Ram tomorrow!
Aussie-basher Baker may have disappointed last week, but Argie-basher Baker is well and truly back!
Horrendous next round though - Go Soeda or Bobby Reynolds.

Yes, I'd been thinking Jamie was very likely to go to GB No 3 when James' Sarasota Challenger title points came off shortly but it's kind of crept up as a real possibility a bit earlier. Much as I like Jamie, it would be great if James responded with a shock victory in his match.
Anyway, I'd say he's stalled a little in his comeback this year but still progressing and with few points to defend over the next 4 months, it would be great if he would move up towards WR 200, which is the least we would really want from GB No 3, whoever it is.
By the way, I'm assuming your tweet "Amazingly Jamie will be GB No 3 unless..." kind of means taking account of all he's been through. Hope noone takes it the wrong way
That looked from the scoreboard like a very gritty win.
I'd expect Josh to pick up enough points this week to keep Jamie out of the no 3 position or at least to make it a brief tenure by picking up more points next week.
