I would imagine that Laura for certain and Heather very likely won't need to get into the top 250. There is the exception of younger players who have performed particularly well prior to the Championships and I would anticipate the LTA recommending them both for MD WCS.
It looks like Georgie is probably out and it is Anna and Naomi B that are really the two to concentrate on here.
apparently, laura is gonna try and qualify for strasbourg next week http://www.sportinglife.com/tennis/news/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=tennis/10/05/10/TENNIS_Robson.html
Laura has entered and is 3 out at the moment so will probably get in. The article also referred to trying to qualify for French Open. So that clears up the will she / won't she get the wild card for French Qualies.
I think if she gains direct entry to US open qualifying this year and Aussie open qualifying next year they will count as two merited increases. That will allow her to play 14 for the year. Otherwise she might have a very quiet end to this year.
Otherwise she might have a very quiet end to this year. I'd expect her to be in the England team for the Commonwealth Games which will be one extra end of year tournament.

Yes, obviously completely academic for these two.
I would rate Naomi has a 40/60 shot at the moment.

Heather's playing for Guernsey I think so you might be right. It will be interesting to see how many British girls take part in that. Bally for Scotland etc., etc.,.
Heather is officially on the Guernsey team but none of the other countries have named their teams yet. The deadline isn't until the start of September, so it may be some time before further announcements are made.
As for Wimbledon, Heather has climbed further up the rankings in her first year after wining her junior slam that Laura did last year (albeit being able to enter more events) so is sure to get the nod.

It seem's the article was wrong about France: Laura she hasn't got a wildcard for Roland Garros according to the list on TF. There is still a possibility she might get into Ladies doubles as a merritted increase though if a) she wants to use up a merritted increase for a doubles tournament and b) a suitable partner can be found.
As for the commonwealth games, I think Bally / Anne may miss it as there will be a conflict with $4.5m China Open but for Laura with her age restrictions on the tour, it couldn't come at a better time.

A bit ridiculous they all go to French girls. On the positive side Laura can focus 100% on Strasbourg. Wouldn't be surprised to see Laura take part at Eastbourne this year either in qualies or via a main draw wild card.
Apart from the one to the ozzie girl, and the one to the American.
If we get 6 wildcards for brits at wimbledon I'm sure u wouldn't be complaining....
They have an agreement that one goes to an American and another goes to an Aussie so that means the fourteen remaining have gone to French girls. The LTA have said they will only recommend 8 in total plus 2 via a qualification wild card playoff. I make that 10 in total not comparable to 14.
