RE: Week 15 - ITF ($25K) - Tessenderlo, Belgium - Clay

That's atrocious, made even sadder by the draw being that good - reminds me of the days when Bally was regularly losing to people she shouldn't and had coaches who weren't really pushing her, or so it seemed - I think Naomi needs a Nino!

What about if Nino could takeover from Roger Draper ( left field suggestion it might be) but I'm pretty certain things would improve.

Exactly what I was thinking. Might need some help with the organisational side but as an inspirational leader who could be better.

... possibly not for Elena though!

I get the feeling Nino's type of expertise is best used with individual players, that's why I said they need to clone him. I hope they're at least looking carefully at what he's doing though.

Indeed, the most obvious parallels between our two singles players in the top 100 (apart from them both being - notionally in Elena's case - pasty-faced Jockos, as Ratty would put it) is that they both have training/nutrition/etc regimes that they are proud enough of to shout about.

Jamie Baker shouted about the NTC's wonderful training, nutrition guidance and indeed medical facilties in his recent defense article  wink.gif

I kind of do though think there may be much to be learned from others that are getting results or helping others to get results.
