Didn't think he'd got through that one, but an excellent fortnight in China nonetheless. Now an even bigger challenge awaits him - getting home!

Sometimes you just gotta say too good....

Will Sean be ranked high enough to be able to get directly into most of the GB Futures main draws now?

He should be up in around the 630's in the rankings so i don't know if that's good enough or not

The cut off for GB Futures varies hugely depending on where they are held and what else is on that week (e.g. Bath had a much higher cut than the Tipton Future the week before) but he'll be ranked just outside the top 600 and that would have put him on the edge of a DA into Bournemouth, almost certainly getting in after w/ds. However, being a clay court Future the cut for that event is lower than for most home Futures.

What a pity there isn't a GB Future on this coming week - it might have ended up like some S American Futures with all the points going to home players. wink

According to Sean's facebook he won't be able to get into the UK untill the 5th of may!!

Does that mean he's going to miss any tournaments?

I think if Sean's really bothered he might just manage slightly before May 5th  smile

Guess maybe though a question of costs.
