I emailed the tournament director about Anna's score and the fact that the score wasn't showing. He replied with the score about 15 minutes ago, so presumably he also arranged for the score to appear on the website.
He also confirmed that Anna will be playing her next round tomorrow nb 14.30 (I'm guessing that is local time, so will be 1.30pm here).
Re Anna v Marino, they've met once before in Cumberland in 2008 (in the final), and Anna won in 3 sets.
However, more recently in Jersey, Marino lost to Hrdinova in the first round. In the QF, Hrdinova then lost by 3 &1 to Anna. If this is an indication of current form, Anna will have an excellent chance here.
"Got the win this evening 0+5. Went for a walk about in the 2nd set, I was in need of some coffee or a slap around the face"
LOL
Great day in Torhout - Katie and Anne continuing to battle to scrape a late DA for RG and Anna leaps from GB no. 8 to GB no. 6 ahead of Naomi B and Georgie.

Great day! Anna isn't entered for the next 2 weeks, so I wonder if she is planning to head to the Far East for the run of 3 50ks on hard/carpet there - I can't imagine her game is much cop on the clay and she could do some real damage with the big points on offer there. Will be interested to see what Katie chooses to do in the run up to the French too - can't imagine she'll go for the WTAs as presumably Anne will be doing. There are lots of 50ks on offer in USA and Europe in May too so maybe she'll take that route after Johannesburg.
