a break and a consolidation - just what the doctor ordered!  smile

but let's have another just to be sure.  (although I dare not think of the super tiebreak at this point)

also chuffed that m*rray and bopski won earlier against opponents who aren't pushovers by any means.

sb says df to osw, but that can't be the case as he serves at 4-3 up a mb.  let's hope its a portent.

nope - instead we get an ace on 2nd serve to 5-3.

and now poor dom serves down triple match point.  triple four-tb-lost-in-a-day point.

saves one.

So near, yet so far for the second time today for Dom, who must be both knackered & just a wee bit demoralised! bleh Ah well, it obviously wasn't to be.  The only good thing to be said about the defeat is that there'll be no question of divided loyalties for us Brits as far as the top-half SF is concerned.  A 75% Brit doubles final would be something to shout about, too... wink

Pity for Eaton & Inglot and a cruel day for BBD in particlar.

There is clearly real potential in that partnership and I would have quite liked to see how they got on against Bopski.

Anyway, let's now hope for a Bopski v JJ final.

The two semi-finals will be played one after the other, the fourth & fifth matches on Court 2 tomorrow afternoon.  Fingers crossed... pray.gif
