RE: 2010 Miami Masters 'Battle of the Boards' pick 'em

I think I may have been slightly influenced by IW in picking Roddick to win but it looks I've been pretty lucky in that he has been the only one able to string 2 decent tournaments together.

odd to see AM.com go up so much after a Rafa win...oh wait no i remember it's cos it's basically a Nadal fansite now

So true, and I'm so glad someone else has said that so I can make it QOTD without implicating myself ROFL

I think they still don't know that you're the same person as 23.59 over there. evileye

Plus it's not as if the fact that there are more Riff Raff droolers on AM.com than on RN.com (though not as many as on VB, obviously) is a big secret! no

Edit: I've just noticed your avatar and realised what the sacrifice is bleh

OH MY GOD i had given up on the tournament after Murray's defeat (i had him winning it) yet ridiculously i just checked and im currently 13th!!!!!! and im probably higher now that Roddick and Nadal both won!!! how on earth is this even possible? i think Berdbrain (can we still call him that?) must have saved me beating Fed. this is easily my best pick'em ever and i wasn't even following it!

Think that might have been after the Nadal and Roddick results were added and no doubt due to that Sod you are now a little lower, awww.

Actually your high placing just now is not at all due to Fed losing to Berdych given I believe you like most folk had him reaching the semi.  So must just be more due to general brilliance  smile

It is from now the main potential negative of Fed reaching at least the final or positive of Muzza doing similarly would have been mostly felt, but from now the top - half is a blow-out apart from the lucky ( inspired ) few that have Sod reaching the final and for us Muzza folk we look to what 's best for us re Nadal & Roddick. Whoever wins their semi though must of course lose the final.

Ah, sorry for being a bit anoracky there  hmm.gif

The results have been up to date on the site to the end of the QFs since about 2 this morning, I just haven't had a chance to do the daily report yet. You're now 22nd, The Knight, thanks to that annoying Swedish sod messing us all up.

My sheer ineptitude at this Pick'em has made me die a little inside.
