Week 12 Futures - Kazakhstan F1 ($15k) - Almaty

L32: Alex Slabinsky WR 735 v Dzmitry Zhyrmont (BLR) WR 689

The same R1 draw as last week, a weird match which Slabba won 0-6 7-6(4) 6-0. Unfortunately, last week's doubles partner, former top 100 player (2) Peya WR 298 would probably await the winner in R2.

Peya is not playing doubles this week, so Slabba has teamed up with Marek Semjan (SVK), who happens to be the other seed in his quarter of the singles draw. They are the no. 4 seeds and will take on unrnaked Kazakh pair Rakhishec & Yessenkulov in R1.

Most definitely. Maybe Peya told him the secret of how to beat him last week when they played doubles.

Or perhaps Sasha is starting to hit his straps again.

Lets hope its the latter
