The Sevastova vs Gallovits match has finished on Court One, so Bally should be on shortly to be followed by Katie.

I'm afraid though I must head for bed.


Edit :  Ah, missed the post re Bally's tweets :

"I've just been told I'm now not next on..bcos of other courts not having floodlites,they want to finish another match on my court..,,..before they put my match on!its ok I guess..we've only been here 10hrs!!!!x"

...so Bally won't be on as shortly as I thought !

Very confusing.  There is a match on the scoreboard for Court 7 showing as match suspeneded due to darkness with score  6 - 3  5 - 1.

Now, if that's the one they've decided is actually going to be concluded on Court 1, maybe not too bad.

Who knows....

The game that was being played on court 5 has moved to court 1. It's early in the third set, so Bally will be approx 01.30 GMT?

Katie has tweeted saying she expects to be on approx midnight local time.
I think I'll catch the scores in the morning.  sleepy.gif

Katie, show a bit more confidence in Bally than that if Bally is starting about 1.30 am  (  9.30 pm local time )

A 1st set in which Katie got 90% 1st serves in and McHale 96% was decided by one break, McHale taking it 6-3, but Katie has come out like a train in the 2nd set, holding to 30 then breaking to love! smile.gif

She had to face a bp in the next game, but held for 3-6 3-0* ... and it's now after midnight in Miami.

These serve stats must be wrong, surely - they imply that Katie has got her first 14 first serves in at the start of this set!
