Also, Hope Johnson giving Barthel a run for her money, although the scoreline might suggest otherwise. The game has been littered with double-faults (12 - 8) at present, but Hope getting plenty of bp opportunities.

I think Hope can take a lot of encouragement from this match. She managed to break Barthel's serve twice, and won 43% of the points in the match. If it wasn't for her 14 df's (2 on break point), the match could've been a lot closer.

Not sure if Alex was 5-0 up in tha 2nd set, but it was at least 5-1.

Unfortunately it still wasn't a big enough lead as she lost 6-1 7-6(5) to WR 349 so not an awful result.

Alex was 5-0 up and served for the set at 5-0, 5-2, 5-4, and 6-5.

She had at least one set point, but double faulted at the crucial moment.

P.s. Does anyone else find that the live score applet leaks memory. Firefox eats another 4k every second I leave it open

Yes - Tara's match was originally scheduled after Anna's so must have been moved to a non-streamed court.

Tara squeaks through set 2 saving a break-back point in the final game
