She won't need to play until Thursday next week at the earliest.
I was wondering when she heard about the wild card. If in the last 24 hours her mind might have been on Miami not this match.

Yeah but still if she played here it would be 4 weeks in a row of tournaments which is crazy by any standards

I don't think there is any use in playing loads of players around 300 when she could be meeting players as high as 35 so I think either way I think it is good that she can go back and prepare to face players who will be so much tougher.

I reckon had she known about the wc she would have stayed in florida.

doesnt really matter much. she needs a good 9 day break after all the tennis.
trip back over the atlantic to miami.
