Evo / Thornley just won their doubles as did Goodall / Groth

Btw do you know who won the non-Brit matches, i.e. Sijsling v Capkovic, Kontinen v King and Walter v Martin? (they're all possible opponents for Brits in R2)

Fairly predictable, Steven:

R1:  (1) Igor Sijsling (NED) WR 186 defeated Kamil Capkovic (SVK) WR 360 by 7-6(3) 6-4

R1:  (6) Henri Kontinen (FIN) WR 257 defeated Barry King (IRL) WR 601 by 2-6 6-4 6-3

R1:  Andrej Martin (SVK) WR 342 defeated Ludovic Walter (FRA) WR 480 by 1 & 2

per his facebook, kontinen had to withdraw with an abdominal strain he's been fighting since after davis cup.  so priddle through to the 3rd round.

Priddle's ranking points are like buses at the moment...

After Minar's withdrawal, more good news for the bottom half guys  smile

With due respect to Priddle, now a real opening towards the semis for the winner of the Cox / Wardinator match who could hopefully then meet the winner of Evo / Goodall.

Priddle was pretty impressive in his win against Bradshaw. It will be interesting to see how many games he can take off Cox / Ward.

I'd rather like to have a Wardinator vs  Evo semi here, but one match at a time.

For a start, maybe Priddle really feels like stacking up his buses, I mean points hmm.gif

Now confirmed on the drawsheet. Martin is the only-non-Brit left in the (absurdly) bottom half now. smile.gif

I bet Barry King's a bit miffed that Kontinen made it through their match before pulling out.

Josh beat Dan in their only two meetings in straights so im sure Josh will have the mental edge going into the match, whether he can win it, probably not. They're both in pretty bad form :( .

Bradshaw/Millman through to doubles semi-finals thanks to withdrawals

Bains/Willis play Arlidge/Priddle to see who they play
