RE: Week 10/11 - WTA Premier Mandatory ($4.5M) - Indian Wells CA, USA - hard

Shame Anne couldn't come through that one, but it's still early days in her comeback and there are clear signs that she's in reasonable form already.

Great work by Bally gutsing it out - as she said in her post match press conference, neither were playing well, but you can tell Bally has so much more confidence these days as she held it together.

Good stuff  smile

Decent chance that Sarah will beat her CH of 75 with that win  ( currently 80th )

Next meet  Y Chan & J Zheng who put out the no 7 seeds Chuang & Hseih  6 - 3   6 - 3

I love that someone with a CH of 199 can beat a top 5 player on the doubles court - outstanding, Sarah & Raquel!

Great win - I feared they had missed the boat at 5-4 in the first set. Sarah told the LTA

"That was probably our best win as a team." said Borwell after the match.

"Weve been working really hard towards results like this and we deserved the win with all the travel weve put in the last few months. Hopefully it will give is the confidence to move onwards and upwards."

Bally should be on around 10.30pm after Almagro v Zverev

They ALWAYS do this the match AFTER playing a Brit, don't they ... Chokevetadze just retired against Radwanska.
