This is a new one to me for bet365 to be covering qualifying in 25k tournaments.

Naomi takes the first set 6-3. She lost the second set last week.

Quite a struggle with alot of deuce games. A spurt of 4 straight games in the second set set up the victory for Naomi which became a breakathon set by the finish. Overall easier than last week so positives for main draw where all the matches will be difficult given the strength of the field.

Good stuff from Naomi winning 6-3 6-3 in the end. I'm amazed that Bet365 deemed it worthy of their effort. The match was on the Stadium court, with Heather playing Georgie on an outside court at the same time, so that will not be covered.

Bet 365 have randomly started covering ITF 25k matches. Last week it was Minsk and Sydney.

Stoop won 6-3 6-0 LOL. Congrats Georgie and hopefully this will give her confidence for the rest of the year but I guess this must be a mix of inexperience and fatigue on Heather's part. The great news is that Heather has a chance to redeem herself as a LL, I just hope that this loss doesn't blow her confidence too much.

I thought they gave the LL spots to the highest ranked losers in qualies very strange.
Heather earlier before the match suggested she wasn't looking forward to playing a good mate in a match hopefully that was the reason for the bagel in the second set because I always had Heather as a consistent performer. As for Georgie she appears more and more to be a hot/cold performer and today she was pretty hot. No doubles this week for the Brits.

No Mel back home in London now so no show here.

Tough draw especially so for Naomi.

That's only in ATPs/ATP Challengers/WTAs, in ITFs and slams it's done by a random draw from all the fqr losers. Anyway, it's great that Georgie got the win but Heather got into the main draw too smile.gif
