Huge win for Heather. I must admit I have been impressed by her reaction to her slightly disappointing defeat at Midland. According to her facebook entry she has really trained hard the last two weeks coupled with her studies which shows to me the sort of dedication you need to become a top 100 player. This is a career best win and eventhough Vaidisova is nowhere near her best she certainly has played to a decent standard this year and to beat a big name requires alot of bottle and also Heather did it in a marathon match. Even so I feel we won't see the best of Heather until the second half of the season when she can finally say goodbye to her studies and concentrate 100% on her tennis.
