RE: Week 8 - ATP 250 - Delray Beach, USA

Assuming Jamie did win (& I admit I thought he was going to blow it more than once from the beginning of the second set onwards!  Pleased to see his battling qualities come to the fore to prove me wrong, though! smile ), he'll face the q4, Robert Kendrick, in the FQR. cry A real toughie, that one... nod.gif

Jamie did beat Kendrick 3-6 6-4 6-2 in Champaign, Illinois Challenger in November so although potentially pretty tough that's quite encouraging.  They met once previously in a 2007 USA Challenger when Kendrick won 6-3 6-4.

I would have said that Jamie was definitely in better form at the end of last year than he had shown so far this year, but again today's performance is much more encouraging win ( or lose  !!? )

I see LS is moving again.  Jamie's match no longer appears in the live scores, but nor does it show in the results  frustrated.gif

Concerning that the match score is at the top of the ATP website with the score stuck at 2-6 6-3 6-6 (6-3) biggrin.gif

That shows some stamina to keep that rally going for... what, 16 hours? :P LOL LOL LOL lol... lol. Yes.

They are still going evidently, that'll be 17 hours now  smile

If anything I'm more taken by the ATP homepage photo of "Legends share the court in Delray Beach",  those legends being John McEnroe and  errr  James Blake  biggrin
