Good win for ross now LLoyd will probably play him in doubles in Doubles In Davis Cup---------mistake in my view should be Flemski

Who would he play with though?

With the squad he has chosen, he has to go with 2 doubles players surely.

Baker, Ward and Evo are not recognised on a doubles court at all.

Just came on to read about the semi and appreciate the game to game scores and tiebreak information to see how it went, thanks to alex and to seagull for the little bit at the end.

Anyway, good stuff by Hutch & Kerr, though hopefully still no Davis Cup spot.

I love how some folk think what the wrong thing to do will be and then predict JL willl do the opposite smile    Must admit though it's slightly worrying me too.

Hutch/Kerr held three break points on Isner's serve, but blew them all. Kerr and Querrey both held to 15:

Hutch/Kerr *1-3 Isner/Querrey

Despite Hutch/Kerr having another break point somewhere (wasn't paying the best attention) Isner/Querrey take the first set 6-4.

Jordan saved a break point in the first game of the second set and then Ross starved off three break points (which came after two double faults in a row):

Hutch/Kerr 4-6 2-1*
