Dom (WR 706) will take on (Q) Rola (WR 918) in the second round.  Hope that's not a banana skin in waiting... pray.gif

Both singles and the doubles are played tommorow. Good luck lads.

Inglot seems very un-British! I love it.

Eaton and Inglot both won 6-4, 6-3 in their respective matches and will play each other in the quarter finals

Unfortunately they went out in the doubles though. Losing 7-6(5) 6-4 :(.

Don't know who will win the singles tommorow, they played each other once last year, which Eaton won 6-4 6-4 but i think it will be a very close contest.

Eaton in 3.

Well, whoever stays most consistent from the back of the court is going to be the likely winner of this one... ( biggrin )

It's going to be all about the serve.  I think Eaton will take it, purely because he should be feeling the more confident of the two at the moment - which plays a big part in a S&Vers game.

Inglot wins! 7-6(5) 7-6(5) . Probably few breaks if any.

Wow! disbelief Unexpected or what?  Don't know whether to laugh or cry - laugh, I guess, at the gradual emergence of a new Brit tennis talent! wink Where'd you find the result, spud?

As I suspected.

I love Inglot. He's one of those players who seems like he will go on a streak of being totally unplayable but then other times will be tamed.

But he's a great candidate for another GB challenger levels player imo.

Another for whom the US collegiate route looks to have been a success because he didn't look too hot 4 or 5 years ago in his first attempt to go pro.
