Good stuff, Boggo, did the business. Yes, the pesky Pole it is is now since he beat Kindlmann.
QF : Alex BOGDONOVIC WR 167 vs Michal PRZYSIEZNY ( POL ) WR 142
A real toughie. I think many of us have been watching Pryzsiezny's rise back up the rankings to now be at CH, and are only too well aware how good a player he is. Would be a really good win for Boggo if he makes the semis.

Excellent stuff from Boggo. It may well be largely hype (a la Dimitrov last year, whose results in Challengers have been pretty awful since last summer), but big things seems to be expected of Kranky who has already got the Nike/IMG machine behind him) so good to see Boggo despatch one of those upstarts in straight sets on their home soil.

Kranky! Love it! Will have to remember that. Well done, Alex. Now let's see you stuff the Pesky Pole...
On the doubles front, Przysiezny & Yves Allegro were beaten 3 & 3 by the two Croats, Mario Ancic & Lovro Zovko, so it will be the latter whom Delgo & Bozo take on in the final match on court in Belgrade tomorrow, immediately after Boggo vs the Pesky Pole, in fact. The winners will face (arguably) the surprise package of the doubles competition so far, Dustin Brown & Martin Slanar (JAM/AUT), in the final. I say that because they dumped out the fourth (& only remaining) seeds, Amritraj & Cerretani (IND/USA), by 6-2 3-6 [10-7] today to make the final!

''It was a very good match. I served well and that was crucial for the win. Filip is very talented, but he lacks experience, I think he will gradually develop into a top player'', said Bogdanovi.
The 25-year-old Belgrade native went to England when he was seven. ''I love Belgrade. This tournament is like a holiday for me. I enjoy good food, good company, I go out. I don't have opportunity to come often during the season.''
His plan is to get into top 150. ''I'll spend two weeks in London after Belgrade, and then I go to Sarajevo, Chelsea(lol) and Greece. My goal is to keep winning and to reach top 150 so I could play ATP tournaments' qualies.
Bogdanovi will try to repeat his result from 2005 when he reached semis at Gemax. He next takes on Mikhal Przesiezny of Poland who beat German Dieter Kindlmann 6-3, 7-5.
''We haven't met before. I know he's in good form, he played well in Bergamo,' said Alex.

is this from a written statement or a radio excerpt? if it's the latter i find it interesting that Boggo would say "lol" out loud...or maybe he actually laughed and the interviewer filled it in?
i added the lol - as they put chelsea rather than jersey.
also the cut and paste dropped the 'c' from alex's surname as they put a accent on it for some reason - should tell them he our Brit now ( no one mention the DC team)
edit: the interview mut have been spoken then edited as 1) alex never writes that much and 2) the are no 'you knows' in there

donbt worry indy, his ambitions extend further than 150. his aim is still top 100 minimum, and hes looking to be in a position for a DE into wimby.
i think the above might have got lost in translation so to speak, i think at 150 he could be saying you may make the occadsional ATP cut rather than be able to enter the Q draws.
