Katie's not yet won a 100k or 50k title so I see absolutely no harm in her getting lots of those events in alongside tour events; she's clearly trying out a new more aggressive style and that's bound to take time to bed in - age-wise, she's the most successful Brit for a long time, and she shouldn't feel bad about these losses.
Hmm not great scoreline. Would like to see Katie go deep in some challengers 50k and above to get on a roll. She probably isn't looking much like a top 100 player at the moment but then has made it into the 80's so has improved. I hope she doen't fall back like Mel though.

Yes, itr's good to hear that she is trying to adapt her style and become more aggresive. She had a style that was good enough to get her into the top 100 but seems to have realised that if she really wants to advance further up these rankings she has to adapt and I'd say now is the time to do it. If that means taking a few hits and dropping down the rankings a bit in the short-term I'd say so be it.
